The Daily Blackjack Deal
One shoe a day, the same for everyone. The score is how many of your decisions matched the strategy chart, not what the cards paid.

One bet size, on purpose
Every hand in the daily deal is 10 chips. With the bet fixed there is nothing to chase and nothing to press, so the only thing left to get right is the decision. That is the one part of blackjack a player controls.

Strategy coach
Each decision is checked against the basic strategy chart for this table the moment you make it. The coach grades the choice, never how the hand turned out.
Everyone who opens this page on the same UTC date gets the same shoe, and 20 hands from it at 10 chips each. The cards decide who wins a hand, so chips say little over a deal this short. Whether each choice matched the chart is the part that was up to you, and it is the only thing scored. No score or result is saved between visits, and there is no streak to keep. The spots you play off the chart are kept in this browser only, so the coach can drill them.

Decisions on the chart is the score. Net chips is what the cards did with a flat 10 chip bet, shown for the record. At this table chart play still gives the house about 0.41% of each opening bet, so a perfect score does not mean a winning deal.

One shoe a day, scored on decisions
Every day there is one deal: 20 hands from a 6-deck shoe, at a flat 10 play chips a hand.
The shoe is shuffled from the date, so everyone who plays on the same day is dealt from the same cards, and two people who make the same decisions see exactly the same hands. That makes a result something you can compare with a friend, which a normal shuffle never allows.
Hard 19 against an ace
The chart plays: Decline insurance
Whoever opened the deal on this date was dealt this hand first. From the first decision on, the cards each player sees depend on what they chose.
What gets compared is the decisions.
Each hit, stand, double, split and insurance answer is checked against basic strategy the moment you make it, and the score at the end is how many matched. Chips are shown as a plain fact and nothing more, because over 20 hands they are mostly luck: a player who misplays half the deal can finish ahead of one who plays it perfectly. No score or result is saved between visits and there is no streak to protect. The only thing kept, in your own browser, is a list of the spots you played off the chart, so the coach can drill them. Play it when you feel like it.

The same play on every shoe, at 10 chips a hand over 20 hands. The chip column is the cards, which is why it is not the score.

FAQ
- Is the daily blackjack deal played for real money?
- No. The table uses play chips that have no value, cannot be bought, and cannot be cashed out or exchanged for anything. If you run out, you are handed another stack for free. There is no account and nothing to download.
- Does everyone really get the same cards?
- Everyone gets the same shoe: the same 312 cards in the same order for a given UTC date. The first hand is identical for every player. After that, the cards you see depend on your decisions, because a hit takes a card that would otherwise have gone to the next hand. Two players who make the same decisions all the way through see exactly the same deal.
- Why is the score decisions and not chips?
- Because the decisions are the part a player controls. Over 20 hands the chip result is dominated by which cards came out, so it says very little about how well the deal was played. Whether each choice matched basic strategy is exact, and it is the same skill the blackjack strategy chart teaches.
- What happens if I miss a day?
- Nothing. The page keeps no record of your visits, your scores or your results, so there is no streak to lose and nothing to catch up on. Each day's deal stands on its own, and you can replay today's shoe as many times as you like.
How this game works
The date, read in UTC as a year, month and day, is hashed to a 32-bit number, and that number seeds a small deterministic generator (mulberry32). The generator drives the same Fisher-Yates shuffle the free blackjack table uses, over the same 312 cards, so the shoe is fixed by the date and by nothing else. It does not depend on your device, your earlier results or how you play. The date is read in your browser when the page opens.
The rules and the grading are the blackjack table's own. Every decision is compared with the basic strategy chart for this rule set: a pair that cannot be split is played as its total, and a double that is not available falls back to standing on soft 18 and hitting everything else. Insurance counts as a decision, and the chart never takes it. Each hand is dealt as if from a full stack of chips, so a losing run never removes a double or a split from the choices and never changes what the chart would play.
The summary also shows what chart play would have scored in chips on the same shoe. That figure comes from replaying the whole deal in the same engine with every decision taken from the chart. At these rules chart play leaves the house an edge of about 0.41% of each opening bet, so a perfect score is the least costly way to play the deal, not a way to win it.
Limits
- The chart replay is not a hand-for-hand comparison. One different decision changes which cards every later hand receives, so the two results come from different hands after the first difference.
- The generator has a 32-bit seed, so a daily shoe is one of about 4.3 billion orderings it can produce, not one of every possible ordering of the cards. That is ample for a practice deal and would not be acceptable for a game played for money.
- Because the shoe is fixed by the date, it can be worked out in advance by anyone who reads how this page works. The score is for your own practice and proves nothing to anyone else.
- The chart is a total-dependent basic strategy. It ignores the cards already dealt, so it is not a counting system.
This is a practice game for adults. It has no real-money play and links to none. Blackjack played for money has a house edge on every hand, and matching the chart on every decision does not remove it.
